Recreation of the famous painting, Girl with a Pearl Earring, by Johannes Vermeer. The vision was to recreate the shadows and highlights of the painting through studio photography. Vermeer's work focused on the socio-cultural roles of women. This photo adds an extra element with the introduction of a model of asian descent.
